Yes We Can

Yes We Can - group service activity, ideal for any time of the year 

In partnership with Uniting Care SA the State Youth Team has created a simple event and resource to help your youth ministry (big or small) serve your local community.

We believe Yes We Can is a great way to practically teach our young people how to engage, serve, connect with communities and share the love of Christ.

The Yes We Can event can be run at any time throughout the year.  We encourage you to think about who you could partner with to make this event great (eg. your wider church community / local churches / schools / wider community / supermarket)

Step 1 

Approach a supermarket & ask for permission to set up a stand outside their store to collect donations of non-perishable goods 

Step 2

With your young people spend the day outside the supermarket asking shoppers if they can donate non-perishable goods to UnitingCare for people in need 

Step 3

Deliver collected goods to your nearest UnitingCare organisation
