Life Groups
There are many mid-week groups that meet weekly, fortnightly and monthly, all providing the opportunity to learn and grow together in faith and to connect with and care for each other in ways that are not always possible on Sunday mornings. Small groups exist for youth, families, men, women and divorced women. There is also a monthly women’s group that meets at a local café for a coffee and chat.
Mainly Music
We run mainly music (a music and movement group) for pre-schoolers and their parents/carers on Monday mornings 9.30am - 11.00am during School terms (starting Week 2). In addition to a half-hour music session, each week includes a healthy snack for the children and an opportunity for the parents/carers to catch up over a delicious morning tea with freshly ground coffee.
Courses
The following courses are frequently run at Coro:
- The Alpha Course – a basic introduction to the Christian faith
- The Marriage Course – for couples who want to strengthen and invest in their relationship
- The Parenting Children Course – for parents of children aged 1-10
- The Parenting Teenagers Course – for parents of teenagers aged 11-18
- DivorceCare – for women and men who have experienced the pain of separation and/or divorce
About Us
CoroUniting is a vital and active community of believers who are excited by what God is doing in his world and seek to participate in various different ways.
We gather for intergenerational worship each Sunday morning where we expect to be strengthened in our faith by grounded biblical preaching, inspirational worship and simply by sharing with each other.
There is a vibrant children’s and youth ministry with children remaining with their families for the early part of the service before moving out to their age-specific programs (four programs catering for children from birth through to Year 10). Once a month we celebrate Family Communion with several all-age services planned each year.
We run an annual week-long January Kids Holiday Club for around 120 children and various family-friendly events throughout the year including a bi-annual church camp in October.
Our Youth Group meets weekly during term time with a youth camp once each term.
Several of our church families work cross-culturally both here in Australia and overseas. CoroUniting also coordinates the support for the Saiyarak AIDS Ministry in northern Thailand, including bi-annual mission trips in association with the Church of Christ in Thailand AIDS Ministry (CAM).
