About Us
Coffin Bay is a welcoming congregation that invites you to join us for worship.
"Coffin Bay Community Church is quite unique in that we are a jointly co-operating Church of Uniting and Lutheran Christians, with both denominations owning the building.
Our common goal is to work together. We attend and share in each other's services. While we do have difference in our understanding of theology, we, however, respect and accept the diversity and rely on God to unite our faith as we serve together.
Our aim is to model the committed love of Jesus: by loving to the limit as he did /does. He committed at great cost to himself, backing up words with actions, he never gives up on us: that is the sort of love we hope to receive and what we aspire to give.
Every fifth Sunday we amalgamate to have a combined service and share in Holy Communion. We have a worship committee that puts together Christmas and Easter Services."
