About Us
Cherry Gardens Uniting Church is only 15 minutes’ drive from Blackwood via Main Road or Acklands Hill Road and 10 minutes from Aberfoyle Hub and Flagstaff Hill via Main Road or Oakridge Road.
A friendly family group welcomes you to join us for worship.
Cherry Gardens is the oldest former Methodist chapel still used for worship within the Uniting Church. We celebrated the 170th anniversary of the building in 2019.
Both the church and the new meeting hall are air conditioned. All of the rooms in the facility are accessible by the disabled including a new bathroom large enough to accommodate a large mobility scooter.
Country weddings and baptisms are also celebrated here.
Our location is in a peaceful setting and provides the right atmosphere for retreats.
