The Port Neill Uniting Church will be holding a Celebration and Farewell Service followed by a shared morning tea.
This service will mark the official closure of the church building, and people will be able to meet with others of like mind and share their stories and thank God with gratitude for the positive impact the church has made in their lives and the community.
The Port Neill Uniting Church has been faithfully proclaiming the Gospel and serving Port Neill and District for eighty one years since February 1937. It has provided regular weekly services, a Sunday School, and has been a venue for worship services of the Lutheran and Catholic Churches, Ecumenical Bible Study and other community group activities. Many seasonal holiday visitors to Port Neill have come and helped fill the building.
All are welcome to come. The Service will be conducted by Peter Prime, Graham Ingram and Rev Benji Callen. The Church address is Wallis Street, Port Neill.
