A workshop for those interested in icons (with little or no experience in the area), which will be conducted by Rev Dr Peter Blackwood, who in his retirement is supporting the Uniting Church Icon School in Melbourne. Peter will provide tuition for a week long school in Victor Harbor, Monday 23 - Friday 27 October, 9am-5pm.
Cost is a very reasonable $250 which will provide your tuition, board and materials, e.g. egg tempura paints.
During the week, attendees will be able to start with a blank board on Monday and be pretty close to having a finished icon at the end of the week.
There are only five places to ensure plenty of teaching and guidance.
