Join local Adelaide musical identities John and Barb Turner for Mostly Music @ Malvern's "An Afternoon with Gilbert & Sullivan". The pair will be accompanied by pianist Helen Angove and some of their friends, including SA State Opera singers soprano Joanna McWaters and tenor Andrew Turner, as they present an afternoon filled with sheer delight. Hear a selection of the best melodies and funniest humour from a variety of Gilbert & Sullivan comic operas.
Come prepared to laugh out loud with the comedy, tap your toes to the music and clap your hands in excitement as you spend the afternoon with this very talented team.
Includes afternoon tea in the adjoining hall at the conclusion of the concert.
Admission at the door: $20 adults, $15 seniors/concession and $5 children (under 12).
Proceeds to the Malvern Uniting Church organ renovation and other local outreach projects.
