The 2017 Wilks Oration will be given by Julian Cribb on the topic "Surviving the 21st Century" on Friday 21 August at 7.30pm.
Julian Cribb is an Australian science writer, the author of nine books and over 8000 media articles. He has received more than 30 awards for journalism including the Order of Australia Association Media Prize.
In this oration, Julian will explore how we must change to ensure life on earth survives the devastation humans are inflicting on the planet.
Cost: $25 Adults; $20 Concession; $15 ELC Friends.
