Illumina Voices is a vibrant group of women who share a love of singing and the joy of friendship. They have earned a wonderful reputation as a choir of excellence, passion and heartfelt performances.
This very talented group will be singing an engaging variety of songs which are bound to inspire! The repertoire rejoices in the many aspects of Light and is interwoven with beautiful Lullabies. Genres include spirituals, popular songs and significant contemporary classical works, including Goodnight, My Angel by Billy Joel, Lullaby of Broadway, Cole Porter’s You’d Be So Nice To Come Home To, Mark Hayes’ toe-tapping arrangement of This Little Light of Mine, Eric Whitacre’s beautiful Seal Lullaby and the exquisite Lullaby by Daniel Elder.
The choir is thrilled to welcome back guest artist and violinist Sam Howes, who will feature in his own bracket of beautiful music.
The choir is a not-for-profit organisation that supports community health projects associated with women, children and families.
Come and be inspired by this rich collection of choral music and excellence!
