Child Safe Environments - Reporting Child Abuse & Neglect

Participant numbers in Child Safe Environments – Reporting Child Abuse & Neglect are sometimes limited to maximum numbers and preference will be given to members of the Uniting Church.

The courses educate participants about their legal obligation to report reasonable suspicion and concerns about Child Abuse & Neglect.   We encourage all church leaders, Elders and members of Church Council to participate in training and to maintain their knowledge in this area.

Full day training is designed for those who have not undertaken training before and for those for whom it has been greater than 4 years since last attendance.

Refreshers are offered for participation, once every three years. Dates for rural locations are made in conjunction with communities as requested.

Please contact the Training and Development Officer on for further details.

Details and bookings will be posted before the training event.
